Parents, friends, and neighbors submit their current electric bill using the form below
As your registered Texas energy broker, Low Price Power will keep track of your contract expiration date
About 35 days before your expiration date, we'll contact you to show you how much you'll save
Waco Montessori School will receive a monthly commission from all partners' bill payments
Partners invite their friends and neighbors to save as well, growing the school’s revenue each year!
As soon as you send us your electric bill an email immediately gets sent to us and to your school, with the master list updated showing that you are a potential partner. Once someone signs up to save money on their bill we also update the school and the master list. We report on all these activities in your real-time dashboard below, and also conduct regular audits demonstrating compliance.
Each month your school will be paid via ACH, and will receive a report showing the amount of electricity used and the resulting commission paid for each individual account. We value transparency, and always believe in "trust but verify!"
Almost all the REP's (Retail Electric Providers) play sneaky marketing games, and grossly overcharge consumers.
About 80% of the deregulated electricity market in Texas is dominated by TXU or NRG Energy, and their affiliated companies (Reliant, Green Mountain, Stream, Xoom, Cirro, Discount Power, Dynegy, Ambit, US Gas and Electric, and others). These companies have over 260 senior executives combined! All those salaries and bonuses cost millions of dollars, and their electric rates reflect this reality. It’s not that hard for us to beat their rates...
Plus, they spend millions in advertising to trick consumers into falling for their schemes like free nights and weekends, or a short term teaser rate that balloons in cost the second somebody forgets to switch providers before the expiration date.
Who would you rather profit, your school or these sneaky fat cats?
We love the idea behind Power To Choose, but in reality most of the lower priced offerings are misleading schemes. With our 18+ years of experience here in Texas we help you avoid these traps! We only deal with fixed rate, transparent providers who don't play games.
While we are still less expensive than 90% of the providers there may be some that are fractionally less expensive than our rate. However, they do not allow your school to make any money! Who would you rather profit, a corporation or your school?
Maybe most importantly – while we may think that we’ll just go for a short term rate that is a tiny bit less expensive, out here in the real world it is very easy to lose track of your contract expiration date. That’s what the providers count on, so they can renew your contract at a much higher rate! Part of our valuable service is that we keep track of everybody’s renewal date, and contact you in plenty of time to switch over to a low rate (if a switch is even needed).
Yes! We actually get our electricity delivered to us by one of the 5 regional electric delivery providers - Oncor, CenterPoint Energy, AEP Texas Central, AEP Texas North, or Texas-New Mexico Power (TNMP). This won't change when you switch to your new provider.
We pay our electric bills to a Retail Electric Provider (REP). REP's buy electricity on the wholesale market, and then contract with their regional delivery provider to have our electricity delivered.
While this creative and lucrative fundraising approach is relatively new, our partner has served thousands of electric customers in Texas and Ohio for the last 18 years. This ain’t our first rodeo!
We service both residential and commercial accounts in Texas. If you have a business and would like a competitive no-obligation quote (that would also help your school) then please submit your bill using the form above and we'll contact you right away.
Yes, we have both! We'll be glad to go over the details for each option with you at the time of your contract renewal. Both options are competitive with existing market offerings.
No! We serve all the deregulated areas of Texas, about 85% of the state. So if a friend or relative lives in another part of the state they can still support the school. If a partner moves they also can continue to enjoy the benefit of a lower rate along with a dedicated energy broker watching out for them. You can see a list of areas and cities we serve here - https://lowpricepower.school/index.php/cities/
If it’s a question about this fundraiser program or switching over you can chat with our AI bot here, or email [email protected].
If it’s a question about your new provider or existing provider you should call that provider’s customer service.
If you are having an electricity service problem you should call your TDU (e.g. Oncor) at the number your retail provider gave you.
